psyhcodynamic approach summarize

All psycho-dynamic theories stem from psychoanalysis, for Freud first developed the basic ideas which underlie the approach as a whole--particularly the idea that understanding behavior requires insight into the thoughts and feelings which motivate our actions. While the textbook deals extensively with the basic concepts of psychoanalysis, in many ways the theory is intertwined with the man. Indeed, one could argue that in no other approach has one person had such a dominating influence, not even Watson for Behaviorism, or Rogers for Humanistic Psychology. Consequently, it should not be surprising that Freud was ranked higher than any other psychologists on various lists of scientists and thinkers of the last millennium. While many other psycho-dynamic theories exist today, Freud still casts a long shadow, as the following resources show.

cognitive approach summarize

They focus on the way humans process information, looking at how we treat information that comes in to the person what behaviorists would call stimuli and how this treatment leads to responses. In other words, they are interested in the variables that mediate between stimulus/input and response/output. Cognitive psychology assumes our behavior is an internal process including perception, attention, language, memory and thought

my summary ^^

on my own summarize I've learned the  behavioral personality:

the behavioral personality involves the study of personality through behaviorism which emphasizes overt, objective behavior, theorists in this area also consider cognitive processes and study particular ways of learning, such as by observing others in a social context. Traditional learning procedures classical conditioning, operation conditioning instrumental learning, and observational learning are used to demonstrate how people learn many emotional responses.

the most unforgetable that i can't forget in general psychology, When my professor tell something about in logic, He said "what is the difference between brain and mind?"
and he gave an example like software and hardware.
He said "how it would be function?"
software is like the mind - it tells what we need to do or we can do?
hardware is like a brain - it is a circuit that can function all necessary.
